ALMAG Series

The ALMAG Series is an electromagnetic flowmeter ideal for conductive fluids such as water, pastes, acids, lyes, juices and emulsions. This meter is suitable for measuring the flow rate of virtually any liquid having a conductivity ≥ 5µS/cm. Electromagnetic flow meters' operation are based on Faraday's laws of electro-magnetic induction. When a conductive fluid passes through a magnetic field at a right angle, the voltage induced at the sense electrodes is directly proportional to the density of the magnetic field, the distance between the sense electrodes, and the velocity of the fluid flow. Flow is measured as the fluid passes through this magnetic field by inducing a voltage output proportional to the flow rate. The ALMAG series comes in sizes ranging from ¼”~80' (6~2000mm). The ALMAG Series is available as a stand-alone sensor or with the ALMAG Series signal conditioner/display module.
FEATURES

Various liners can be selected to satisfy most industrial applications.

Flow Velocity range: 0~40 feet/sec (0~12 m/s), with good performance for low flow applications.

Flange-type process connections are standard, ANSI, DIN, JIS types available.

Excellent performance for high pressure application.

Protection class: IP68 is available; and the sensor may be immersed in water.

FEP Liner suitable in vacuum tube applications.

High accuracy: ±0.5% of reading standard, ±0.2% of reading available for certain operating conditions.

Comes standard with forward/reverse flow rate measurement function.
