ATMF8000 Mass Flowmeters

The ATMF8000 Series mass flowmeter is ideal for mass flow measure- ment of any compressed gas. The thermal mass principle of flow rate measurement relies on the rate of heat absorbed by a flow stream, which is directly proportional to its mass flow. As molecules of a moving gas come into contact with a heat source, heat is absorbed, thereby cooling the sensor. The heat transfer between the sensor and the gas is directly proportional to its mass flow. Applications include air and natural gas consumption for boilers, compressed air (shop air), Bio Gas / digester gas, high purity and ultra-high purity gases, argon, carbon dioxide, hydrogen, hydrocarbon gases including methane, propane and various mixtures, nitrogen, oxygen and many others.

Tracking of overall gas consumption over a turndown ratio of at least 100:1.

Data logger that can store flow, velocity, temperature and total consumption.
